District boundaries are reviewed by the Electoral Commission at intervals of between two and five years, and no district may be more than 5% larger or smaller than the average electorate. The practical result for a campaign: <strong>several localities are split between districts<\/strong> \u2014 Birkirkara, Naxxar, Fgura, Marsascala and Piet&agrave; have all been divided across boundaries in recent cycles \u2014 and the map you campaigned on last election may not be the map you vote on next time.<\/p>\n<h3>What that means for your campaign<\/h3>\n<p style=\"max-width:760px;\">A locality mailing list is the wrong tool for a district campaign. An MEP campaign is a national door-drop, and the craft is in the phasing: the whole country at once for one big moment, or planned waves (Malta first, Gozo after; or region by region) so your material lands fresh as the campaign builds. Several councils include hamlets: Naxxar, for example, also takes in Ba&#295;ar i&#289;-&#268;ag&#295;aq, Salina and Mag&#295;tab.
