Door-drop marketing in Malta: how it works

Door-drop is the simplest idea in marketing: your printed offer, physically in the letterbox of the households you choose. No algorithm, no ad auction, no inbox filter. Targeting works by locality

A door-drop campaign here is planned town by town. You can cover the entire country, or pick only the localities that matter to your business — the catchment around a store, the towns where your customers live, or the areas where you want to grow. Quotes are based on the household counts of the areas you select, which means you only pay for the homes you actually want to reach.

The timeline to plan around

A standard campaign is distributed over two weeks. If your dates are tight, an express service completes distribution in five working days, subject to availability — the honest advice is to ask early. The one date that matters most is your material deadline: your full print run needs to reach our premises in Santa Venera by the Wednesday before your target week. Material that arrives later moves to the next available distribution period, so plan your print schedule backwards from that Wednesday.

How you know it actually happened

The question every advertiser should ask a distributor is simple: how will I know my material was delivered? Our answer is the weekly Distribution Update — a report issued every week of your campaign listing the areas distributed. It is the official record of the campaign, and you receive it for as long as your distribution runs.
